Biography

Alex Williams is a Los Angeles-based composer, cellist and music copyist for film, television, video games and the concert stage. He has worked as an orchestrator for composer Pierre Charles and as an assistant to composer Gavin Brivik. As a music copyist at JoAnn Kane Music Service, Williams has copied and prepared music for composers John Williams, Alan Silvestri, Christophe Beck and John Debney, among others. Additionally, he has produced and recorded music for Two Seas Media Studios in Los Angeles and has sampled cello for Lucie Treacher’s Folklorica Sounds project. Williams interned at Audio Design Desk in 2021 where he created sound design elements and implemented musical loops for users of the company’s Digital Audio Workstation.

In 2020, Williams graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Valencia, Spain with a Master’s degree in Scoring for Film, Television and Video Games and received a Bachelor’s degree in Music Composition at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2018, Williams attended the 2018 Palomar Film Music workshop.
