Music copying and transcription

As a copyist at JoAnn Kane Music Service, I have had the privilege of preparing music for Hollywood’s most profound composers and orchestrators. I believe that clarity, musicianship and efficiency are the keys to success in creating professional, high-quality scores and parts for performances and recording sessions. I use both Sibelius and Finale engraving programs for copying services.

Synthestration and MIDI Editing

Finding a budget to record live musicians isn’t always easy, affordable or possible. Whether it’s a small chamber concert piece, strings for a pop song, or a 60 piece orchestral film cue, I strive to bring life and realism into any project that I am mocking up. I use many of today’s standard and most realistic virtual instruments and have proficiency in all of the industry’s leading Digital Audio Workstations, including Logic Pro, Cubase, Digital Performer and Pro Tools.

Cello Recording

As a cellist, I offer remote home recording sessions and deliver detailed, high quality and expressive audio tracks that can be used for solos or layering. I can use up to two different microphone positions at a time and my microphones include an AKG C214 large-diaphragm condenser microphone, a Royer R-10 ribbon microphone and a pair of Lauten Audio LA-120 small-diaphragm condenser microphones with omni and/or cardioid configurations.

Rates on all of the services mentioned above are negotiable depending on the budget and the size of your project.
